MINDSET part 3 “PLATFORM READY"

LESSON LEARNED UNDER THE BAR
MINDSET part 3 “PLATFORM READY"
This one will be short and sweet. By the time I hear my name called, all doubts are gone. I am in a state of controlled aggression and heading to the bar.
You have to have trust in your chosen attempts and go to work. Avoid distractions, this is why it is always a great idea to have a helper with you! My wife and I are each others “person” in working out and during meets. She keeps me informed of exactly what I need to be informed of during the meet and I do the same for her.
LESSON LEARNED UNDER THE BAR
Champions don’t rise to the occasion They rise to the level of their preparation. When your name gets called and the platform is ready, trust the work you have done and execute with confidence.
In closing on this 3 part topic I will add my opinion. Whether your stepping on the platform, into an athletic competition, or facing one of life’s biggest challenges, the lesson remains the same: prepare thoroughly, trust in yourself completely and execute with confidence.
